Jeremy "Hank" Farrah, CPA


Hank graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. He has been a licensed CPA in the State of Maine since July 2002.

He is a member of:

  • Penn State Alumni Association

Hank joined RKO in May of 2003 and is currently the head of the municipal department. He has experience with municipalities, school districts, and quasi-governmental entities and has been associated with the municipalities of Portland, South Portland, Augusta, Winslow, Brunswick, M.S.A.D. #11, M.S.A.D. #74, Greater Augusta Utilities District, and others. He is also very proficient with the provisions of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and financial reporting. 

Hank has participated in a variety of CPE courses in the past three years. Some of the topics covered while attending these sessions included the risk assessment SAS standards (SAS 103 through SAS 120), Governmental Audit and Accounting updates (including new GASB pronouncements), Pension accounting (GASB 67 and 68), Fund Balance (GASB 54), and ethics. He has also participated in presenting material during in-house CPE training sessions and has been a presenter at the Maine Municipal Association Convention, Tri-State ASBO Conference, Maine Governmental Finance Officers Association Luncheon, Maine ASBO meetings, and Drummond Woodsum’s Finance Institute.
